Where has the time gone? January and February 2014

 January of 2014 started out with us going to the annual Carpatho-Rusyn  Party.  The kids were excited to be able to wear their Polish dance costumes from last year and get dressed up.

In mid January we decided to take a long weekend and go to the Maui Sands Resort in Ohio.  The kids had a great time at the water park.  

The first weekend in February was our annual Ski Outing with the GCU.  Helena and Seamus did awesome!  They took some ski lessons again, skied with Grandpa Huddas, and got to ride the chair lifts for the first time. 

Katie was not interested in skiing this year so instead she went dog sledding with Aunt Kim and Uncle Mike.  She loved being able to pet the sled dogs!

Where has the time gone? Christmas 2013

Christmas Eve we spent at Grandma and Grandpa Huddas's house.  We got to see lots of family and spend some time together.

On Christmas Day we woke up to find that Santa had been good to us again.  We started by opening our stockings...

...then moved on to some presents.

Even Meg got a new toy!

After getting dressed in our nice outfits we went back to the Huddas house for some more time with family and some friends.

Christmas Night we were at Grandma and Grandpa Murphy's house and released our Chinese Lanterns while making our wishes for the New Year. 

Where has the time gone? December 2013

 The girls decided that we needed a spa day so we went and got some pedicures.  They were very excited!

Scout showed up right after Thanksgiving and started with his crazy pranks right away!

                        St Nicholas came on December 6th and filled the shoes of the good kids in the house.

This year we went to Blakes to cut down our Christmas Tree.  It included a wagon ride out to the tree farm and a visit with Santa

December involved a ton of parties as well.  We had our Zamek Dance Party....

...Church Party and Play...

... and even visits with Saint Nick

We also finished our church giving tree.

Where has the time gone? September- November 2013

It's been forever since we've posted.  Kindergarten has been a busy year for us in the Murphy House.  I'm going to try and do a quick recap of the last 8 months or so.

In September I celebrated my 36th birthday with the help of my favorite trio.

 October was a whirlwind with Halloween decorating, pumpkin carving, and parties at school.

 

By the time November rolled around, Meg and the kids had grown a ton and learned so much!
